Eggs For Dinner | Cooking

Ingredients To prepare:

1 medium-size white egg - 100 percent free-range eggs (5 yolks)

4 tablespoons oil - 1/4 cup

1/2 cup water - 2 cups

1 tablespoon butter

1/8 teaspoon salt (You may add more salt to taste as per your liking)

1/4 medium-sized red onion - 3 slices

1 small diced tomato

1 tomato sprigs with stem removed - 3 tomatoes

1/2 pound spinach leaves

2 large carrots

1/2 pound cabbage

1 small parsley stalk

2 sprig basil leaves

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon pimento

1/4 cup grated cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella

Salt and pepper to taste

To use:

1 cup cooked pasta

4 eggs of your choice

1/2 cup grated cheese

1/4 cup cooked oats (or any high-fat Greek yogurt)

1/4 cup chopped onions

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 cup greens of your choice (broccoli, spinach, or kale)

1/2 bunch of dried cranberries

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step One: In a large bowl, beat the eggs

Step Two: Add two tablespoons of oil to one quartered medium size bowl. Put in the egg mixture

Step Three: Slowly fold in half of your vegetables which include carrots, cabbage, lettuce, and spinach. This is best done by hand. If you want to make the eggs look white from start to finish, then you need to whisk them a fair bit first.

Step Four: Pour one cup of water into another large bowl. Now add the remaining vegetable mixture into the egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Do this until everything has completely combined.

Step Five: Pour into another large bowl and fold into the broccoli, spinach, and kale. Squeeze the cabbage leaves but leave some raw sides. It will not take long before all the vegetables thicken up. However, do not peel off the leaves immediately after mixing. Leave the leaves intact as they will form a good base for the rest of the ingredients.

Step Six: Divide everything evenly into four bowls. Have at least 1 cup of each vegetable mixture in each bowl.

Step Seven: Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight before serving.

Egg And Salad If you don’t have time for preparing the eggs and vegetables separately but would prefer to make your dish then you need to know how to make the egg salad. Firstly, take a piece of the baking sheet and place a plate on top, cut out a few thin slices of bread to serve with these salads. These will provide the necessary crunch and texture to your salad so that all the vegetables get an equal amount of attention. Also, you will not need to chop the vegetables very finely as they are already somewhat small. So if you want to have more veggies for this recipe, you need to increase the number of vegetables in the salad.

Egg Salad

Step Eight: Start adding eggs to the bowl. You can also use crumbled cheese in place of boiled cheese. Add any type of vegetable as and when required. Make sure the egg mixture does not run out of the bowl. When used, it should come up to around a third of its original volume. The eggs will stay warm throughout the day by touching them before going to bed. Keep this temperature always within a reasonable range. The heat from boiling the eggs or making the salad will cause the eggs to become quite solid. Hence, you need to be very gentle and watch the consistency well. Most importantly, you do not have to overdo anything because there will be plenty of room left to turn the egg mixture around.
