Even as the convenience and convenience of everyday life are greater now than ever before, a growing number of people are talking about dissatisfaction, stress and loneliness. As we face the storm of personal commitment and endless deadlines, we are often pushed back to the importance of doing it for ourselves. Self-care process is important because stress can change the situation, but it will never go out of your life. And the sooner we accept this fact and prepare to face it, the better we will be. Self-care is not a luxury, it is a priority if you do not want to be overwhelmed by life, feel unhappy or tired. 1) Give your body some time Self-care begins with caring for our physical well-being. Even in the midst of our stresses, giving ourselves time to exercise, or even better to play a game, can do wonders for physical and mental strength. Simple steps like eating a regular diet, staying hydrated, feeling fresh air on your face and making sure you get 6 - 9 hours of sleep every night also go a long way. Stay away from things - they affect our emotions and our health. 2) Connect periodically We cannot talk about self-care without talking about how technology has affected our daily lives. What started as a way to improve efficiency and simplify our lives has now become one of our main sources of stress. We find it difficult to turn off our gadgets, whether for work or for renewal. Spend time away from gadgets to charge yourself. Do not sit on the screen before bed and do activities in a real, offline environment. You will sleep better. 3) Relaxation and Rest Apart from taking a break from gadgets, other R&R is important, not only to improve self-care but also to improve productivity. Take short breaks every 45 minutes of activity. At the same time, balance work commitments in a way that allows for some relaxation time, allowing us to regain strength and support our efforts. 4) Get creative As adults, recreational activities do not always find a place in our busy schedules. Asking people what they do for fun or what they love is met with confusing peace. Pursuing art is a great way to relax, to put an end to the pressures that surround us, and to express ourselves freely. Engage in art activities such as painting, music or dance as a way to revitalize. Learning other skills, not directly related to your job, that you feel can improve your overall quality of life can also be helpful. 5) Learn to be grateful How we view the world can affect our well-being. Changing ideas into a positive, growth-focused attitude helps us to face the challenges we face. 6) Build a support system When we feel stressed or overwhelmed by our responsibilities, we often withdraw from the most important people - our family and friends. We may feel that we do not have the time or energy to make plans, that others will not understand us, or that we do not want to burden anyone with our problems. But these are times when access to our social support system is critical. Selfishness exists in relation to others, and investing in a relationship is perhaps the most important aspect of self-care. Spend quality time with friends and family, and strive to build a support community even at work. Extend your hand whenever you can, and at the same time, do not hesitate to ask for help. Ask yourself, 'When I have enough time to face my friends, what do I do to strengthen my relationship with my friends and family?' Lastly, be kind to yourself and forgive.
