Massage: Massaging the scalp, which can be used in conjunction with hair oils and masks, stimulates the scalp and may improve hair thickness. It’s thought that stretching during the massage encourages hair growth and thickness in the dermal papilla cells, which are located in the bottom of the hair follicle. These cells play a key role in the formation of hair growth, and the shedding and re-growth cycle. Massage is also known to improve blood flow and the health of the scalp. Massage your scalp each day can also help you relieve stress and tension. Massage your scalp with your fingertips, not with your fingernails, applying light to medium pressure. Massage increases hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles. It stimulates the follicles to produce thicker hair. It's also thought that a scalp massage may help dilate blood vessels beneath the skin, thereby encouraging hair growth.
Onion juice: Onions contain certain minerals, which may be good for the hair. If you can handle the smell of onion juice, you may find that the benefits are worth. Anyone allergic to onions should not use onion juice on their hair. If the smell is too much to stand, adding a little lemon juice or rose water helps. It is a popular home remedy for hair loss treatment.

Rosemary oil: Rosemary is a common essential oil, use for hair growth and reduces hair loss. Mix a few drops of rosemary oil into a carrier oil, like argan oil or jojoba oil, and massage it into your hair and scalp before rinsing. You can also add a few drops of rosemary oil into your shampoo and conditioner on a daily basis. However, you shouldn’t use essential oils directly on the skin, and you should always mix them in a carrier oil or shampoo.
Fish oil: Consuming omega fatty acids can help improve your hair from the inside, since they are filled with nutrients and proteins. Taking an omega supplement, along with antioxidants, helps improve hair density and diameter. It also reduces hair loss. Omega fatty acids help your cells work correctly and can boost immunity, leading to better overall health.
Aloe vera: Aloevera has long been used for treating hair loss. It also soothes the scalp and conditions hair. It can reduce dandruff and unblock hair follicles that may be blocked by excess oil. You can apply pure gel to your scalp and hair a few times per week. You can also use shampoo and conditioner that contain Aloe vera.
Gooseberry: Boil gooseberry, Soap Berry and fruit for hair, in an iron vessel. Keep it aside overnight and apply for nourished hair.
Henna: It improves scalp health and enhances hair color. Repair damage and strengthens hair and balance PH, oil production. It promotes hair growth, thus reduces hair loss.
Fenugreek: Some people have also used fenugreek to promote hair growth, although research on whether it actually can do so has been limited. It has shown that fenugreek seeds can treat low to moderate hair loss in men and women. Various plant compounds in fenugreek may interact with a chemical in the body that is known as DHT. If DHT attached itself to your hair follicles, the result, sooner or later, would be hair loss. Fenugreek may slow down the ability of DHT to attach to your hair follicles.
