When you type in the search engines the word "cleaning tips" you get a selection of something similar to the 14,800,000 websites to choose from and many of those websites will redirect you to schools for other websites. There are some sites dedicated to providing advice, advice and tips on a variety of topics that seem uninteresting. Many of these tips are helpful. However many cleaning companies include on their websites a cleaning tips page. I would argue that many of these are useless both for the visitor and for the company.
Why did they do it? To attract more visitors to their site? To get more customers? The purpose of the website is to provide information to potential customers about the services and products the business provides. Every visitor should be a potential customer. If a visitor leaves without doing research you will need to improve the website and / or services you provide. Or you don't use the right keywords so it automatically attracts people. This is not really the type of service that a person wants. No matter what you do you will always be attracted to a certain number of these. What you really need is more high quality guests. The best way to achieve this is to provide the surfer user with as high quality content as possible while accurately describing your company's products and services. Good content will go down well with search engines and raise your profile on them, which will also drive better visitors to your site. So it improves sales.
This is the whole purpose of the website. In business it is a marketing tool and another way to gain customers. So how do cleaning companies produce more high quality content? Many are looking for “frequently asked questions” which is a legitimate way of producing content while informing potential customers of what they may want to know about you and your products and services. So we come to the "cleaning tips". A little research has shown me that more than half of cleaning companies with visible websites have at least one cleaning tips page and some have multiple pages divided into different categories. Try reading these at another time. Carpet cleaning companies are the main users of these types of sheets. How useful are they? Some tips provided by these carpet companies are very useful, but general cleaning companies leave much to be desired. Their cleaning tips are similar to the ones you can see in reality TV shows about cleaning. For example “make dough with baking soda and vinegar and grease your taps; wrap in cling film and leave overnight. Relax in the morning. "It may work but why would anyone want to do that if two minutes of using phosphoric acid with a little effort could get the best results? Do the cleaning companies themselves apply any of these tips? You can bet your health that very few do. The purpose of getting the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible for each employee to select the most effective and efficient cleaning product available. So why do they have these pages? They attract potential customers because they are looking for ways to do it for themselves. very few will offer their own authentic ways to do something quickly and effectively that will benefit the visitor instead promoting advanced cleaning methods of the old style completely different from today's world.
So in the web browser I would suggest that if you are looking for cleaning tips look elsewhere than those offered by cleaning companies other than carpet cleaning firms. If you are a cleaning company looking to grow your content on your website look elsewhere than providing a "cleaning tips" page. You can produce better and more relevant content unless you are willing to share your trade secrets!
