Many people who attempt to improve their life find themselves trapped because they are unsure of "where to start" or "what to do." It's easy to say: just do anything, anything at all.
The drive to accomplish anything, such as turning your entire life around, doesn't just appear out of nowhere. Motivation is both the source and the result of action. I promise that you will soon see if it's the right decision or not. But first, you must put an end to your procrastination and begin to interact with the outside world.
This idea is known as the "Do Something" Principle. And I unintentionally created it over my years as a consultant, enabling people to take action who would otherwise be paralyzed by fears, excuses, and indifference.
Itstarted with the idea that because you paid me to be here, you might as well take action. Don't worry, do any action!
What I discovered is that, frequently, as soon as they took an action—even the tiniest one—they were inspired and motivated to take further action. By doing that, they had communicated to themselves that, "Okay, I can do more." We might then proceed cautiously from there.
Don't try to get all you've ever wanted in life if you want to change it. That is intimidating and discouraging. Simply take a tiny step, anything at all, that moves you in the correct direction.
Need to completely redo a website? Take a seat and work on the header. About to take on a significant project? Work on the outline first. Desire to establish acquaintances abroad? Take a beer outside and observe what transpires.
These little deeds will encourage you to do more, and before you realize it, you'll have achieved the seemingly impossible ambitions. You've made positive changes in your life.
