It's a present-day three hundred and sixty-five days and, for plenty, the novelty of the current yr is sporting off. But just as we're getting back to work after a year of unprecedented change and chaos, we have also had an upheaval over the holiday season. From wanting to leave our house, to mostly avoiding it, to more and more people falling ill, it's been an interesting holiday. Now that most of us are headed back to our regular routines and getting back to family gatherings, COVID-19 is everywhere.

In this recipe for 'Chocolate Orange Biscuits,' you'll use plain varieties of Snapple poppadoms that have been prepared only for this recipe. They're very good for a bite-size this way. Each does make for about a dozen; I'm currently experiencing a little run out of extra foods.

Ingredients for the Biscuits

1 tsp butter

100g (2/3 cup) mild biscuits, about 10 cm, about the thickness of a standard digestive biscuit

50g (1/3 cup) plain oats, or any other mixture

Consolidate in the bowl for 3-4 minutes until every one of the" rolls are shrouded in spread. Then stir in the oats until blended to form a stiff dough. The batter will become tacky; add more virus water if the mixture is excessively dry.

Transfer the dough to the pastry plate and roll into a 20-inch rectangle. Flatten the dough on a floured surface, about 1 cm apart.

Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until golden brown and just slightly springy.
