2) Install your "extras"
Many of the computers you will find in the store already have a lot of additional software installed.
While this is easy, it is not always the best way to save money.

If you are not a computer "technician", the extended warranty offered by computer retailers often seems like a good idea.
After all, who wants to worry about paying for a computer service after you buy it?
But keep in mind that most computers come with a warranty, and most computer problems will occur either early (when you have a warranty) or much later (when buying a new computer will be cheaper) Technology is changing very fast these days.
So consider whether it is worth the expensive price of the extended warranty.
And, if you really feel that you need an extended warranty, ask to buy it at a lower price.
