Part1: How to profit from affiliate ebooks without having to sell them
Part 2: How to grow your mailing list with ebooks and eBay Part 3: How to use ebooks to increase traffic to your website In this section, we'll look at a simple and inexpensive way to add laser-targeted prospects to your mailing list. Let's quickly recap part one; we learned that we don't have to make money from the ebook's initial sale to profit from it. Keep this in mind as we move on to the next section of the conversation. eBay is a website that connects buyers and sellers in a secure and safe environment to buy and sell a wide range of products and services, either by action or in a fixed-price format. Paypal is the favored method of payment there. Paypal is an exceedingly user-friendly and secure online money transfer service.
Here's how we work:
1. Divide the ebook into several categories, some of which have a strong connection to the topic and others that are only tangentially related. An ebook about Internet Marketing, for example, may be classified as books/internet information products/marketing; this would be a direct link everything Else/Education & Learning/Adult & Career Education/Personal Development/Personal Finances is an example of a loosely related category. Using the search categories option while the listing is a simple approach to identify appropriate categories; provides you with recommendations from which to choose.
2. We should also experiment with headlines, using different headings for each listing. We should strive to include the words and phrases that people will use most commonly while searching in the heading.
3. Set the ebook up as a 10-day auction with a "buy now" option. If we want to make this a free advertising campaign, make sure the ‘buy now price is high enough to pay our costs.
4. We need to write a sales letter in HTML format. Create a page in HTML composers, such as Mozilla or Coffee Cup, or any other composer, to accomplish this. Outline all of the specifics about the book, including what's within, and then add an auto-reply at the conclusion! Customers can ask for more information about the product using this form. We need to make sure that the redirect page returns the customer to eBay. This is critical since eBay has very severe restrictions regarding links that go to other websites.
5. Now, we can play around with the sales letter to entice people to enter their information; some examples include: for a free report, to receive other offers and updates, for more information and the free edition, and so on. All we have to do now is get creative.
6. It's great if our ebook sells without generating any leads; we've covered our costs and distributed our links. We can go ahead and re-list it, then start all over again! (see part one of this series) It's as simple as that! It's quick and easy to set up, and once it's done, we can easily change the listings and keep this method going.
