Meditation has been practiced all over the world for thousands of years. It is a technique used to calm the mind and body and to relieve stress. It can also bring concentration and clarity, and often, after meditation, the problems you have been struggling with are miraculously solved. Meditation is also known for encouraging people to write and promoting profitable business ideas as your limited knowledge emerges.
One simple form of meditation requires that you sit in a quiet room, either on a pillow, on the floor, or in a comfortable chair, making sure your spine is straight. It is recommended that you use the same area daily. It is also recommended that you make your space your own by decorating it with candles, flowers, and pictures of your loved ones.
The idea is to sit quietly, eyes closed, and look at the point inside your forehead. Try not to think anything special, but do not try to ‘think’ with it; let your mind be calm and peaceful. If you find that your mind is ‘talking,’ don’t try to control it; just let it finish what works for you. It will eventually calm down. It is also recommended that beginners start 10 to 20 times each day. After a while doing this, you will begin to feel deep relaxation and happiness during these moments.
The first step in this regard is to stay in a quiet, comfortable place, making sure you face the wall about eight feet from you. Choose a place or thing in that wall, then make that place or challenge your focus point. When looking at your focus point, start counting backward from 100, the number one for each breath you breathe. As you do this, imagine that you are floating, and you feel very comfortable.
You will begin to feel the eyelids of your eyes heavy, and you may begin to blink. Let your eyes close slightly, and as you continue to count backward, imagine yourself crippled like a ragdoll, completely relaxed, and floating in a safe and comfortable place. Stop counting, and float in your space. If any disturbing thoughts should come while you are in your space, just let it go again, and then let yourself continue to feel safe and comfortable.
This method can help you deal with stress and release the sounds that accumulate during stressful situations. When you are ready to get out of this self-deception, you can let yourself fall asleep, or you can count from one to three and go out. First, count one, and then prepare to leave. Twice, take a deep breath, and hold for a few seconds. At 3, take it out and open your eyes slightly. As you open your eyes, continue to hold on to that feeling of relief and comfort. You may want to increase the length of your sessions to 30 minutes, or maybe even an hour. It is important to incorporate brief periods of meditation into our daily routine in our busy modern life.
