This virus infects or destroys the respiratory system of an individual by entering the lungs and even alveoli. Its common symptoms include fever, a cough, shortness of breath, headache, loss of smell, and loss of taste.
This disease even affects other orangs of the body like the heart, kidney, liver. Because of this virus, many people have lost their lives, and the world's population has decreased upto a large extent. Even many doctors, nurses, hospital staff have lost their lives.
Coronavirus spreads through person-to-person contact. It is generally spread due to the respiratory droplets produced by an infected person through coughing and sneezing or by touching surfaces with the virus on them. It is mostly caused to middle-aged people, and basically, the people suffering from heart diseases, lung diseases, liver diseases are dying. In this pandemic, there was complete lockdown all around India and even in foreign countries, and now still many states are under lockdown to reduce this deadly disease.
During the lockdown, every shop was closed except medical, vegetable, and grocery shops. There was a huge supply and purchase of hand sanitizers, handwash, soaps, disinfectant sprays, and especially masks. Children, less than 20 years of age were not allowed to go out. All the colleges, schools were closed during this pandemic, and studies were being done online. Even office works were being done from homes.
Since this coronavirus came, all the families got quality time to spend laughing, playing, and discussing. This disease has affected the studies of students and tiny children. All the world countries gave their best to discover the resistance against this virus, i.e., vaccine. Finally vaccines named covishield,covaxin,and sputnik v was discovered. But mostly covishield and covaxin is being provided to the citizens of the country. Both of these two vaccines consist of 2 doses. The second dose of covishield vaccine is given after 82 days of the first dose, whereas the second dose of covaxin is given after 28 days. Only people above 18 years of age are eligible to take these vaccine.
We can prevent ourselves from coronavirus by following these precautions:
* We should avoid going to public places
* We should not indulge in various social gatherings
* We should wear a proper mask and should use sanitizer regularly, and wash hands with handwash or soap regularly
* All the peoples above 18 years of age should take both the doses of the vaccine
* If some symptoms are observed like fever, cough we should consult a doctor immediately.
* If we are tested covid positive, we should remain in our houses so that other people won't be affected by us.
* Anywhere we go, we must maintain social distancing of about 1 meter atleast.
* We should involve vitamin c , protein , carbohydrate , fruits , vegetables in our daily diet.
These precautions must be followed by every people in the world so that we can defeat this pandemic. Most importantly, all people above 18 years of age should get vaccinated. It is normal to have any side effects like fever, cough after taking the vaccine because our body is building protection that would go away in a few days. At the same time, some people have no side effects at all.
