Before you start thinking about how to be creative, let me start by pointing out some of the real obstacles that some people seem to have when they want to develop creativity, they think of it as one of those things that concern you and your life;
1. Time lag. It's not as big as you think. It only takes a few seconds to connect thoughts and ideas. It can happen anywhere and everywhere. If you are in the right situation and pay attention to your own experience.
In my opinion, creativity is more about the quality of the time you have and the acceptance of yourself. Although it takes some time.
2. Fear of court. When I work for a national newspaper and we have brainstormed, individuals are often afraid to express their thoughts. Creativity leads to unusual ideas and can even be different in some respects. They can be considered special, special, or challenging. The fear of being considered weird, stupid, or simply different can often kill creativity. If I'm afraid of people who think some of these things about me, I won't get up in the morning; I love the fact that people think I am everything !!
3. Lack of self-esteem. If you do something creative, you will cross the boundaries of what was safe and familiar in the past, for yourself and maybe for others. If you are unsure of yourself, you may be somewhat different in that you feel dangerous or vulnerable. The danger is that you just let your new concept mix. Break those handcuffs!
4. Fear of failure. It's holding us back. When you make a new connection in your brain, there is nothing "right" or "wrong" about it. Failure has only two meanings; First, it doesn't work the way you want. Second, there's another one who doesn't like it. But what ?? !! I have to tell you all that I get a lot of comments on how I do a lot of successful projects, and they always ask me how I did it. I have always stated that these projects are only about 10% of what I thought. The remaining 90% didn't work or disappeared from my brain.
Creativity is not just for geniuses. Einstein is clear, but he may not be the best role model for us. You don't need any special skills to be creative. The fruits of your creativity can be seen in many, many different ways, I'm looking forward to it.
If at any time you doubt your ability to be creative, think that several times each night you will create a whole new dream in which you will write, act and see, which is for all your senses, which includes and has effects that last. long after it's over. serve. This creature is so easy that most people don't even know it as such.
How to be more creative.
Ok, this way someone will be more creative. Let me give you some ideas;
1. Find the right state of mind. Find out which states you associate with creativity. You know exactly what motivates and supports your creativity. What is your best time of day? The best environment? Should you be alone or with others or just among others? Do you need sounds or silence or background sounds? Create a profile of your state of creativity, then regularly set aside time and space, instead of waiting for some divine intervention and for it to happen by itself.
2. Tomorrow is a dream. Focus on your life experiences and focus on your current creativity, instead of rejecting daydreaming and daydreaming. Don't be fooled by what you may have discovered by ignoring it.
3. Ask yourself, "What if?" and what else? "and what more?" Always look for even more different ideas beyond what you think.
4. If and/or you encounter a problem, make sure that your usual solution does not work. It can work in many different ways. If your computer is currently crashing, how else can you do your job? If you often beg face to face, what happens when you write how you feel? Some solutions may not be better than you are used to: others may offer you great new opportunities. Do something else. I wrote about this idea in an earlier article called Do something different, go for it.
5. See how many different results you can achieve with the same ingredient. I'm sure many of you know that there is a cookbook called "Recipes 1-2-3" by Rozanne Gold, where each recipe is made from only three ingredients.
Some recipes use the same three ingredients, but different processes or numbers produce different results.
You can have fun by taking a daily item and imagining or setting how many other uses it can have, you can imagine how it combines with other items.
6. Think of different ways to do it confidently. Change the order in which you do things, use different things, use your less favorite hand; if we stop the routine, we move from being on autopilot to being alive and alert. You train unknown brain connections and help create new connections in your brain. Wonderful feeling!
7. Look at the difference that makes the difference. If you come across something different from yourself, ask yourself what is very different, new, or unusual. Where exactly is the main difference?
I want to discuss a strategy that has been well discussed in NLP circles and that I have been using for many years, and that is Disney's creativity strategy.
Disney's creative strategy is to develop their dreams and give them the best chance of fulfilling them. He is named after Walt Disney, who always plays three different roles when his team develops an idea; dreamer, realist, and critic. Robert Dilts, a pioneer in NLP, models and develops this strategy as an NLP tool. Some of Robert's articles, which he kindly dedicated, can be found on my website.
The strategy separates these three key tasks associated with the process of translating creative ideas into reality so that they can be analyzed separately for maximum clarity and impact.
Many companies have specialists in each of the three areas and I do personal consulting work with companies where I ask different team members to take on one of the roles. You can also do all three tasks yourself, as I always do when teaching or consulting in business, according to your wishes, needs, and purpose. However, the usual use is to assign three roles to different people (realist, dreamer, and critic) to view plans or tasks. Ask someone to act like a dreamer and tell you all the possibilities of the idea. Ask someone to explore what exactly is part of the exercise (realistic), and someone to examine it carefully and examine their strengths and weaknesses (critical). You can rotate the papers. If you do it yourself, be sure to separate and write down the tasks. I did it with a lot of ideas and with the changes I wanted to make in my life.
You can use it in a meeting divided into three phases; Each role is like a different scene. Discuss brainstorming first and be creative; then let him think about what will happen in practice; then take them to critically evaluate options.
I recommend that you be creative and do things differently to create more creativity. It's a great feeling and if you find that your progress in the success or the results you are looking for are blocked or stagnant, then think creatively about how and what you do.
