Public speaking is something that most people try to avoid and are afraid of.
At some point in my life, I had to give myself a speech, and so I needed to learn the best way to do it.
In this article, I write about what I have learned from reading many books on public speaking, this advice has helped me to make these speeches successfully.
Many people get nervous before and during their presentation or speech. It can negatively affect our breathing and release our breath.
It's a good idea to remember to breathe regularly when you feel nervous.
In my opinion, you should breathe in every six to eight words. Nerves will contract our muscles and can make your chest feel really tight.
This is a natural reaction, and it is a good idea to take a few deep breaths before you start talking to help you relax.
When you start your speech, I will make sure that there is a focal point in your room, which can work to motivate you.
It could be a picture of a room or a window. Occasionally, you may lose your focus and forget what you mean. This focal point can help get you back on track.
I try not to look at the people in the audience when I give a public speech because it can stop me.
I want them to think that I am, though because it can be a sign of nervousness if they think I am incapable of it.
My tendency is to look at a part of his forehead which obviously does not have eyes, but the effect of which is that I am still looking at him and so on.
Although I plan what I'm going to say, I don't plan word for word.
Instead, I write keywords or key articles on paper that I keep in my pocket if I need to look at it. It then ensures that I do not forget what I want to say and allows me to advertise.
I also hope that the speech will not be as robotic and boring as if I had memorized it word for word.
I always like to start a public speech with a short joke, which can then serve as an icebreaker.
Furthermore, I remember a speech I gave a few years ago, it was my last day at the company where I worked. The people in the office put it in a collection and bought me some leftover gifts.
Then I had to say a few words of thanks to him. I knew several weeks ago that I would have to give this speech, and I would have to say that it caused me a lot of stress.
The speech itself will be about ten minutes long and will be in front of about fifty people.
That's how I started, I would like to thank all those who put in the collection, and those who did not, I will see you out later.
That's the decent thing to do, and it should end there. It gave me a little extra confidence and helped me relax.
I would also advise people to generally speak a little softly when they have to make a public speech. She has helped me a lot over the years.
I hope this article will help you to make a standard public speech
