A lot of ink is spilled, and much effort is put into explaining the role of Muslim women, their rights, duties, and responsibilities. There have been many discussions and discussions to remove the disagreement about the role of women. Special emphasis has been placed on subjects and books. However, it is wrong to focus on one side or the other, as both men and women are dependent on each other.
Marriage in Islam
The purpose of marriage in Islam is to seek peace of soul and peace of mind so that the couple can enjoy living together in a state of love, mercy, understanding, and cooperation. Such a successful couple can lay a foundation for raising children in a prosperous and productive environment. Islam does not promote the idea that marriage should be developed in a free western society where marriage is considered a mere contract that can be terminated on compassionate grounds and where divorce and remarriage occur more frequently in the life of the couple.
Marriage in Islam is an eternal and natural relationship between a man and a woman full of peace, security, love, understanding, and compassion. The Almighty has described it in the Holy Quran, in the most touching and clear words:
The Prophet's (SAW) concern for women was so intense that some women came to the Prophet's (SAW) family complaining about their husbands. Thus, the Prophet (SAW) announced to the people.
“And among His signs is this, that Allah has created marriage among you, that you may dwell with them in peace, and has placed love and kindness in your hearts: indeed, in that are signs for those who think. [Qur'an 30:21].
Qualities of a Good Husband
The times in which we live have a distorted view of the good husband. When we look at the section on marriage magazines, it is clear that many Muslim men and women do not know what a good Muslim man is. Men want women as doctors, engineers, and financially secure people. On the other hand, women seem to be looking for an established professional who may or may not be a good MBBS & MD. It is not uncommon for Muslim men and women to speak of humanity, chastity, religious beliefs, and morals as important.
His goal is a prophet (SAW)
The Prophet is ready for a true Muslim. Therefore, he follows the Prophet's instructions in all aspects of his life, and matters about marriage and the administration of his wife. A loyal husband always tries to learn from the Prophet's (SAW) conduct as a husband. Then he does it in his daily relationships with his wife.
The fact that Islam is a true religion and provides the best direction for humanity and protection for women is evident in its justice and its teachings of respect for women, as well as its recommendation to men to treat their wives fairly, even if they do not love them. This is also unique and something that women have never enjoyed in human history, other than Islam. Allah (SAW) says in the Qur'an:
The marriage of the Prophet (SAW) is an example of a successful marriage. It forms a guiding principle for Muslims. These terms are very good and are respected at the time. They include kindness, compassion, cooperation, justice, and wisdom. The Quran tells us:
"You have good manners in the Messenger of Allah for anyone who trusts in Allah and the Last Day." [Qur'an 33:21].
