How to bake a perfect eggless vanilla cake?

Everybody loves cake. But some of the people who do not eat eggs or do not have an oven often face some problems while baking a cake. Everyone wants to have cake on their birthday but have you ever planned to bake a cake for someone? I am sure you have tried, but it didn’t turn out that well. So this article will help you with every key point for baking a perfect eggless vanilla cake even without an oven.

So before starting the recipe, let us have a look at the ingredients.

Ingredients

  1. 2/3 cup of milk
  2. 1 TSP lemon juice/vinegar
  3. 1 cup of flour
  4. ¼ cup of condensed milk
  5. ¼ cup of plain yogurt
  6. ¼ cup + 2 TBSP powdered sugar
  7. 1 TSP baking powder
  8. 1/3 TSP baking soda
  9. 2 TBSP butter
  10. 2 TBSP oil
  11. Pinch of salt

Now let’s move on to the steps of baking a cake.

Steps

Step 1: Take 2/3 cup of milk and add 1 TSP lemon juice or vinegar to it. Then gently mix it and leave it aside.

Step 2: Now, take 2 TBSP of butter and 2 TBSP of oil in a bowl. Then whisk it together for 5 minutes.

Step 3: After that, add the powdered sugar and again whisk it until the sugar dissolves.

Step 4: When the sugar dissolves one by one, add ¼ cup of condensed milk and ¼ cup of yogurt and then whisk it again.

Step 5: After whisking is done now one by one, add the flour and milk mixture. Remember, at a time, add only a small part of the flour and some milk, mix everything, and add some more flour and milk. Repeat the process for 1 cup of flour.

Step 6: When the mixture of flour and milk is ready, put 1 TSP of baking powder and 1/3 TSP of baking soda into the mixture and mix well again.

Step 7: When everything is well combined, take out your baking bowl. Apply some oil into the bowl, place baking paper at the bottom of the bowl, and pour the cake batter into the bowl.

Step 8: Now, place a kadhai or cooker on the gas and preheat the kadhai for 10 minutes.

Step 9: After 10 minutes, place the bowl into the kadhai and cover the kadhai.

Step 10: Now, bake the cake for 40-45 minutes on low flame. Do not open the cover of the kadhai before 30 minutes.

Step 11: After 30 minutes, you can open the cover and check whether your cake is ready by pushing a toothpick into your cake. If your toothpick comes out clean, then your cake is ready; you can take the cake off the flame, and if not, then keep your cake on the flame for some more time, and after that, do the toothpick test again.

Step 12: After approximately 45 minutes, take your cake out from the flame, and when the bowl cools down, unmold the cake from the mold.
