During its hour-long PUBG: NEW STATE online showcase, Krafton Inc., creators of iconic battle royale game PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, announced that PUBG: NEW STATE will officially launch on iOS and Android platforms in more than 200 countries on November 11 following a final Technical Test in 28 countries from October 29-30. PUBG New State is set in Troi, a futuristic PUBG world, in the year 2051. The game is expected to feature new weapons and vehicles and a much better graphically rendered environment than its predecessor.
PUBG: New State will launch as a free-to-play next-generation mobile game in 17 different languages. As per Krafton, the game uses state-of-the-art rendering technology and a gunplay system on par with what’s found in the PC version of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.When it launches, PUBG: NEW STATE will have four unique maps, including the future-set Troi and the franchise staple Erangel. Krafton promised to keep the game regularly updated with new content, improved gameplay and a season-based service focused on gameplay balance and fun.
PUBG New State will add a new armour called Dyneema armour that gives the wearer added protection against 5.56mm, 9mm and .45 ACP ammo. On the flip side, the armour is weak against 7.62mm, 300 magnum and 12 gauge ammunition.
The game will add a new car ‘ The Volta’, a two-wheeler named ‘Vulture’ and also a tram which is invulnerable from attack. There is also going to be a The Drone Shop option. A Drone Shop in PUBG: New State offers you a way to get the supplies you have ordered through a droneThe game will let you customise any gun as per your play style. The customisation kit resembles a toolbox and can be found scattered around in the map.
During the online unveil, Sangwan Kim, head of an anti-cheat unit, PUBG Studios, noted that Krafton will ban the use of an unauthorised program, emulators, keyboard, and mouse, and actively detect and restrict hacks to prevent cheating and protect the game’s code. Aside from technical responses, the player sentiment and feedback from the community will be closely reviewed, analyzed, and reflected through in-game updates.

Developed by PUBG Studio, pioneers of the genre and creators of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the title will launch as a free-to-play experience on Android and iOS in 2021.
