HOW The number of super-rich is increasing all over the world ?

Inequality in the Corona epidemic is now at an all-time high in world history. The distribution of vaccines across the country has further highlighted that inequality. Again, the revival of the economy, which has shrunk in epidemics in different countries, is like the English letter 'K', meaning that the poor are sinking deeper.

The feature of K-shaped recovery is that it revolves around certain sectors of the economy but lags behind other sectors. That is to say, just as two opposite lines can be seen in the letter K, the same can be seen in the restoration of this shape. Generally, all sectors and peoples are affected during the economic downturn - the same trend is seen during recovery. Sometimes a sector is more affected or turns around quickly, but overall there is a kind of equality. But his deviation is seen in the recovery of the K shape.

why?

A recent Knight Frank wealth report paints a grim picture of inequality. The number of overweight people in the world has increased by 9.3 percent in 2021 due to the epidemic. In other words, 52,000 new superpowers were created in the world that year. The highest increase was in North America at 612.2 percent. On the other hand, the amount of wealth in Africa has decreased by 0.6 percent.

After the Cold War, Russia is no longer a major economic power. Although recently they have started a war against Ukraine. As an economic power, they are now the eleventh in the world. But in the last one year, the number of super-rich in Russia has increased by 11.2 percent. Australia is in third place with 69.8% increase in the number of super-rich. And in the Middle East it has increased by 7.8 percent, in Europe it has increased by 7.4 percent and in Asia it has increased by 7.2 percent.

According to the Assets Report 2022, the number of super-rich countries has increased the most in the United States. In second place is neighboring India. The country has seen a huge increase of 11 percent. Last year, the number of 100 million dollar owners in India increased to 142, while in the same year, the income of 64% of the households in the country decreased. The report predicts that the number of super-rich in the world will increase by another 27.3% by 2026. Dissatisfaction is also being created among the people with this growing inequality. As a remedy, people want the wealth of the super-rich to be taxed at a higher rate.

Not only that, the participants in the survey called for a sword attack on the countries or regions where investments can be made at low rates.

In March 2020, lockdown was issued in almost all countries of the world to deal with the epidemic. From economic activities to the movement of people are stopped. International communication came to a standstill. The then US President Donald Trump called the coronavirus a Chinese virus. Covid is a contagious disease and communication between one country and another is stoppedOf these, 38 percent will apply for citizenship in search of a better life. Meanwhile, global exports have reached record highs in 2021. International investment in the housing sector is also increasing. In this reality, the appeal of globalization has not gone away, but has increased.
