On April 12, 2024, it is scheduled to be released in American theaters.[1]

Adam Wingard is the film's director, and Terry Rossio, Jeremy Slater, and Simon Barrett wrote the script. Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Jon Jashni, Brian Rogers, Thomas Tull, and Eric McLeod are the producers.

In addition, it is the 13th installment in the King Kong series, the 37th in the Godzilla series, and the fifth Godzilla film to be entirely produced by a Hollywood company. In March 2022, Legendary Pictures declared that filming for the sequel will begin later that year. It was revealed in May 2022 that Dan Stevens would be directing again, with Wingard taking the starring role. In Gold Coast, Queensland, filming got underway in July 2022 and ended in November of the same year. The premiere date of the movie is set for April 12, 2024.
