On June 12, three planets — Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter — will appear close together in the evening sky, creating a beautiful "mini planet parade." Although they look close together, they are actually separated by hundreds of millions of kilometers in space. This is an effect of our viewing angle from Earth.

🔭 How Does It Form?

All planets orbit the Sun in nearly the same flat plane called the ecliptic plane.

Because of this:

• The planets often appear along the same path in the sky.

• Sometimes, from Earth's viewpoint, several planets seem to gather in one area.

• This is called a planetary alignment or planet parade.

Think of it like three streetlights that look close together when viewed from a distance, even though they are far apart.

• Direction: West to West-Northwest

• Time: 30–60 minutes after sunset

• Location: Choose a place with a clear western horizon (beach, terrace, open field).
