Forming is the profession of many, numerous people living in rural India.
India is a rural country and more than 65-75%of our people live in the villages. They have farming as their main profession. More people living in the villages depend on the agriculture industry for their livelihood.
The Indian government has introduced many reformers in this agricultural field.
The consolidation of holdings gave much relief to the farmer. The government has given the lead to the poor and landless people. More and more facilities, such as cheap fertilizers, better seeds, and irrigation facilities are being provided to the Indian farmer.
The government has opened branches of nationalized banks in rural areas.
This has been done to save the farmers from the clutches of moneylenders.
They can get loans at cheap rates for buying bullocks, tractors, seeds, manure, and other productive activities. The production has already shown an upward trend and India has become self-sufficient as far as food production is concerned.
In the last decades, the Indian farmers can still be seen using his pair of bullocks for the purpose of plowing his field. He is still using primitive methods of cultivation. His simple life still continues.
But on account of the spread of education, the farmer also has changed his way of thinking. Now new methods of agriculture are being used by the Indian farmer to increase production.
The Indian farmer is making great progress in many fields. Now he wears good clothes and provides all sorts of amenities to his family. The farming community has increased, but the villages are gradually turning into small towns with all sorts of facilities. Such as water supply and electricity.
The parenthesis is doing a splendid job. These elected bodies have already brought about a revolution in the villages. Now the greater emphasis on the plantation of trees, the villages are gradually changing into “small heavens”.
Due to the changing of monsoons, unseasonably rains, at harvesting period, sustaining heavy damage to the crops. The farmers are getting unexpected problems due to the rains and storms. And they are getting heavy loss as it is impossible to him to sell the agricultural products.
Banks are playing the most important role in assisting the farmers. There are several banks, opened their branches in every village throughout the country.
The government has also given loans at low interest and subsidies to the farmers and provided modern types of equipment at cheap rates in the agricultural industry.
The banks are most useful to the farmers by providing better help to them.
Some state governments are also waiving loans to the farmers.
The government also trying to get rid of, the unseasoned rains, storms, and floods which are causing damage to the cattle, agricultural products. The government is also using modern technologies and equipment to save the farmer’s condition.
An Indian farmer is a hard-working person. He gets up early in the morning and works hard in the fields. Although farming in India is being mechanized, the Indian farmer still depends on their own labor and the god of rain.
