When Amarjeet Sada, then eight years old, was put in the police station in 2007 in relation to the murder of an infant, he was all smiles. Sada, the youngest serial killer in history, was detained after three killings, of which two went undetected. He was not your typical eight-year-old when he was born in the Bihar village of Musahahar in 1998. His six-year-old cousin was the victim of his first assassin in 2006, according to the New Indian Express. He was described as a "sadist who enjoyed inflicting injuries" by a psychotherapist. Amarjeet really requested biscuits before responding to any questions as he was being interrogated by the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Bhagalpur police station in Bihar, according to the Crime Wire. The officer was frustrated by Amarjeet's boredom, but he was forced to remember that the child sitting across from him was just eight years old.
In Bihar, where Amarjeet was born, his parents were a poor laboring couple, and the birth of his sister made it more challenging for the family to support themselves. Amarjeet was an introvert by nature and had no friends, yet he enjoyed exploring his village and climbing trees. When his aunt came to visit him with her six-year-old daughter after landing a job in the city, his life took an unexpected turn. A few days later, when his mother and aunt left the house to go grocery shopping, Sada was left in charge of the two kids. From that moment on, his life changed drastically.
He initially began to strike and poke his cousin. He put his hands around her throat as she started to sob, choked her, and then strangled her to death. According to reports, he apparently proceeded to a neighboring woodland, beat her head into a pulp, then buried her before going back home. Even though he admitted to the crime, his parents continued to protect him, and soon it was time for the next victim—his sister.
Amarjeet's focus shifted to his sister one winter day while his parents slept. He allegedly took her from the crib and killed her by strangling her. Later, when his mother took her up to nurse her, she was aware of what had occurred. Amarjeet acknowledged having done that when she questioned him about it. When questioned, he responded, "Just like that." Yet again, his parents chose not to contact the police about him.
In 2007, Amarjeet committed his final and only murder before being apprehended by the police. This time, it was Khushboo, a six-month-old infant girl. When the baby's mother went to pick up her daughter from a primary school, she discovered that she was gone. Amarjeet allegedly admitted to killing her after a short while. He acknowledged that he bricked her, strangled her, and then buried her. He even guided the locals to the location of his burial.
"She was dozing off inside the schools". According to the Guardian, he told police, "I took her a little way, murdered her with a stone, and buried her".
Amarjeet was eight years old when the police eventually called him in. After what he had done, he was apparently cool, collected, and without a trace of panic on his face. The policemen were astounded by his casual demeanor. But after they managed to convince him, Sada took them to the graveyard behind the elementary school, where he had interred his latest victim. He then told the police about his earlier murders in a composed manner.
He was taken to a home for juveniles and held in isolation because he was a youngster when the killings were committed. He apparently had a conduct disorder in which he found joy in hurting other people, according to the doctors who treated him.
Amarjeet was reportedly released under a different name after he turned 18 in 2016, and no one is aware of his current thereabouts.
