Now a day corona has made a huge impact on the society. The objective of the project is to automate the covid safety entrance by authenticating student, screening temperature, entering the classroom after sanitizing process. The entry into public places like schools and colleges are allowed only after scanning of body temperature manually. To avoid manual errors and to control spreading of diseases. The project is designed to automate the entry of student based on body temperature. The Project consists of four modules namely Authentication Process, Temperature detection, Door lock system and sanitation. The manual covid safety entrance is automated by this project. The students of the educational institution are first checked with their Identity Card (ID) using bar code scanner. The details of the student acquired from the bar code scanner are compared with the educational institution’s database for authentication. Once, the student is authenticated, checking of temperature of the student takes place. The temperature detector module detects the temperature of the student and that will be displayed in LCD, stored in the institution database. When the temperature of the student is normal, the LED light will get blinked with green entrance door will open, the student is marked present in the attendance register. When the temperature of the student is found to be abnormal, the LED light will get blinked with red alarm sound will be produced and restricts the entry by not opening the entrance door.

In the first stage of the project, scans the bar code in the student ID card to authenticate. The temperature will be detected for the student in the second module. The detected temperature actuates or operates the door lock system, opens/not opens by the temperature respectively. The system allows entry of students with normal temperature after sanitation and restricts those with high temperature with an alarm. The project will replace the manual covid safety screening entrance by automatic covid safety entrance by detecting temperature and permitting into the classroom after sanitizing process through automatic door lock system.
