In the month of April after completing collage exams summer vacations starts, I found that lots of biodiversity around me, I love the place in which we live. I found that lots of bio diversity around me, I have now come to the realization that closer to home, so many things remains to be discovered. I used to go for walks in the evening time and I found plants and animals all are effected by summer heat, plants are dehydrated, leaf fall, less or no flowers, many more are dries and burnt. Animals look lazy and sleep under the shadows of building and trees. Plants along the road and finds that no any butterflies or predators and bugs are missing.
I should take around closely at what nature get resistance against sun heat, then I began to carry my phone and started clicking pictures of nature around me. The sparrows, humming birds, are less seen during summers many birds come and put their wings into water and came into the nest. After searching, I found that in the summer time the amount of black ants are increase in my home surrounding, even insects like frogs, grasshoppers also disappear, because of their biological clock, they do not resist to heat they called “cold-blooded animals” and that’s why they disappear into soil. If they disappear should they die? No, cold blooded animals like frog fish and reptiles going for deep sleep into the soil. After clicking pictures I found that types of plants, some are annual, biannual and perennials. In garden nearby me, annual plants like crab grass etc., perennials like Winca plants found. In summer times Caesalpinia pulcherima (orange flowers) Galtoro and Tacoma Stans (yellow flowers) Trumpet flower I found mostly flowering times of neem tree which are having very important medicinal values. Also found 3 types of ants, big ants, small ants and red and fire ants my curiosity going on the top of the level, I would search on the internet and find out more information regarding it, on internet I found identification tips of ants, refers book “zoology for degree students” by S Chand. Then I found ants lives in community, female ants having a wings and larger than male called queen, male ants are wingless and small and called workers, ants lives in hills, It was like I discovered a whole hidden world as ant community, I’m surprised to see corresponding each other, team work, live in community, good constructors. I spot that a group of ants, carrying a dead creature and enter into a hill, so they environmental cleaners. I found ant-plant mutualistic relationship is called “myrmecophilly”. Plants became host for ant. plants provides food and shelter to ant and ant provides protection against creepers and reduce competition to grow big tree. Many examples of the trees like peppal, baniyan tree, bull horn tree.

So, when I step outside and discover the nature that surrounds us, there is always something new to discover. If in summer times I found this kinds of varieties, in the season of monsoon also increase the biodiversity ,captures a multiple pictures of the various species.
