How Stretching Becomes Powerful?

Muscles are soft tissues, made up of stretchy fibres. Human body composed of different muscles having different roles. They help in movement, support, protection, heat generation, and blood circulation. Stretching helps the muscles strong, flexible, and healthy. The human body needs that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Muscles shrink and tighten when they lack flexibility. Muscle contraction is the source of almost all movement in the body.

Stretching mainly focuses on the primary mobility-enhancing parts of human body, such as hamstrings, hip joint, quadriceps etc. It also help in improving body posture because of having large range of motion and decreases back pain. Healthy muscles may also help a person with balance issues to avoid falls. It can also help you feel less stressed because well-stretched muscles hold less tension.

Your muscles ache because of good stretching. This is quite normal and part of the practice. The stretch seemed to have some athletes, especially since the beginning of time. The most important point in good advice is to hold the stretch for at least seventeen seconds. This is a clever pearl acquired by a ballet teacher a few years ago. He said any stretch in less than 17 seconds was unsuccessful. The second 17th rule was skipped with the most powerful Bikram yoga when the stretches were held for about 30 seconds. Don't forget the high temperature used in Bikram's to remove that little stretch of your muscles.

An interesting twist that is not necessary to get the benefits of stretching. But, it can't hurt, can it? So what kind of benefits can you expect from stretching? That's easy. Have you ever seen the film, Blood Sport? Did you know that Frank Dux can stretch his body too much? His co-star was stretching too. Stretching gives a person the ability to have explosive energy found in his or her hands without the need for warmth. Yes, most of us are not karate artists or agents. But, you will be happy to know that there are many other benefits, like after learning to sit in a lotus position for a long time, my ankles changed a lot.

One day, as I was walking, my left foot fell into a ditch. The accident pushed my ankle to the sides almost 90 degrees from its normal position. Surprisingly, this did not hurt, not at all. If my ankle had not been flexible, I might have developed an ankle sprain. At least, it would be painful for days. A key point here is stretching helps us to avoid injury. Not only that, if you have a muscle injury, the tendon or ligament should heal quickly, in theory.

Stretching actually increases the lines, tendons and extended muscles. They do, in fact, get longer over time. Consult with a doctor before doing any exercise, including stretching.
