How special parents and professionals meet each other - It does matter

In the foggy diurnal life of a special parent, it isn't always allowed that professionals who help their own child are maybe the most important mates in a continuance. And they too are people, parents and occasionally indeed special parents. It matters when we face each other.

In my blog, I've frequently dealt with the struggle of special parents in the service and support system in the jungle. For numerous system interferers when the necessary services and timely support aren't always available. Or if one exists, getting it can frequently be behind work and pain. There's a lot to fix in the system.

Occasionally there's also room for enhancement in people’s understanding and stations. This applies to both professionals and parents themselves. Parents and professionals don't always face each other with a station that takes the child forward. Parents may occasionally have difficulty accepting professionals’ interpretations of their child, and likewise, professionals may have difficulty harkening to parents’ views. I, too, formerly had to fix my station to my child’s affairs with the help of professionals, so I know how delicate this is.

A wide range of professionals from different fields may crop around special children and parents kindergartens, seminaries, the care sector, disability services, child protection, etc. I've made it a practical observation that utmost of them all try to do their stylish. Some are more successful than others, and occasionally there have been bad gests, but still further of us have been hampered by the rigor of the system itself the service one would like to give, but there's nothing to offer.

Indeed a professional is a mortal being

I entered precious comments and perspectives from one of my compendiums. She works as a speech therapist herself, but she also has a special child herself. He also knows numerous other professionals who have special children of their own. It can be veritably delicate at times when you have to deal with the same delicate challenges both at work and at home.

And the professional must both take on that part as a professional. You can’t bring too important of your own private life to work. That is why it can be frustrating when you first do your style to help and at the same time feel explosively relating with your parents' situation and studies, but also you get to hear reviews or indeed barking from your parents

The fact is that we also have professionals as therapists for special requirements children, croakers, etc., while we're also parents to special children/ children. We are not that weird, just people. Some of us may have had (like me, for illustration) a situation in the morning that a special youthful person is unfit to go to academy due to obsessive symptoms, and the former evening may have gone into probing bullying or maintaining a youthful person’s desire for life. Also, you go to work, and there’s indeed an implied three-time-old child. And parents feel like you can’t understand their child duly and you can’t do your job right anyway when you don’t get to talk to a three-time-old at formerly.

It’s clearly hard at a moment like that to swallow your annoyance when you can’t indeed start explaining too much. It would clearly be necessary for us special parents to take into account at least the fact that quite a many of the other people we meet go through or at least understand the same effects as we do

I hope that parents of special children will remember that therapists or nursers or croakers in a university sanitarium, for illustration, during the study period may themselves have analogous situations at home. We professionals occasionally have to work hard to help others.

The demands on parents are reasonable in this respect. I do not suppose kindness to others can be too important of a demand?

Therapists and croakers are also people and several parents. One can not know one's life and life situation when one meets another. That’s why you should at least try to be friendly. Still, I believe we're all doing our stylish in this world.

   Can a parent be selfish?

You can and should be selfish if egoism in this case means allowing about the stylish of your child and family and trying to do your stylish to get the right services and help for their situation. Still, I don’t suppose anyone should be selfish in a bad way. Respect and understanding of fellow mortal beings and goodwill are the starting points for effective commerce, in which investing frequently produces stylish results.

Maintaining a positive station isn't always easy. First of all, it has formerly had to fight overwhelmed and tired that it has indeed gotten access to services. And also formerly again you have to explain everything from the morning to a new person who has to ask questions about your “ parenthood chops” on their own. Time has frequently begun to clot with a smile when you explain how numerous times you have to say that those pictograms, timekeepers, routines, exercises, etc have been used and everything has been tried.

But it’s not the fault of the professional that they don’t incontinently have a clear picture of every case, let alone a quick cure. But if he's not ready to hear and understand the parent, also it's better to cooperate with someone different. For the survival of a special parent and the development of the child, it's stylish to produce as good a cooperation network as possible with the necessary professionals and loved bones. No one should join that network with the wrong station.
