How SEBA decided to make the HSLC results..?

Board of Secondary Education on 1 July has decided to make results for all HSLC appearing students based on their past results. The committee has agreed to take influences from the schools about all student's records.

There was massive confusion about the evaluation of HPLC result how it will be made what things will be taken, but now SEBA gad made it clear how the result will be prepared. The committee has said that the marking system will be in a 40:40:20 ratio, i.e., 40% marks will be taken from class 9 annual exams, and 40% marks will be taken from class 10 exams, and 20%  will be taken from the schools regarding school projects, attendance.

But there are many schools where class 10 exams were not held. In that case, the committee has clarified that in those schools where exams were not conducted, the marking system will be different for them. Their marking system will be in the ratio of 70:30, i.e., 70% marks groom class 9 annual exams and 30% from schools regarding school projects, assessments, co-curricular activities.

The committee, therefore, asked all the schools to send all the data to the board as soon as possible. Seba has been given the responsibility of sending the marks to the board of school teachers. The teachers also have a tough job calculating each student's part results and sending the exact data to the committee.

After sending the data Board of Secondary Education will check all the data of every student and make their result based on the transmitted data. Board of Secondary Education has also said that Hslc results will be declared on 31 July 2021. Therefore they have a tough job to Complete all their works within one month only.

Students will be given a certificate about their HSLC results. Still, Education minister Manoj Pegu has said that this certificate will not be valid for applying for any government jobs in the future. This certificate is just given to get promoted to class 11 to study the higher Secondary. But to apply for government jobs, the board has said that students must appear for the Hslc exams, conducted anytime this year. All students will be announced when the exams will be shown, so not to be afraid that exams won't be undertaken suddenly.

The exams will be conducted on earlier criteria, it will be of 6 subjects, and all will be of 3 hours there will be a gap between each exam so that the students get some time to prepare before the exam. After that exa,m the students will be given a new certificate applicable tor any government jobs in the future.

And the government also said just due to covid a unique decision has been taken but if the covid situation becomes regular exams will be held on due time.

But this time Board of Secondary Education has declared that there will be no ranking system as all the results are made based on earlier results. The results will be made to know where students have passed or not.
