Regrettably, a lot of the riskiest toys are also beloved.  There is not enough being done to prevent the thousands of inexpensive, dangerous toys from entering the market. How many dangerous toys are there that we are simply unaware of that are on the shelves?  Although there is a severe problem with potentially unsafe toys, it is not yet large enough to cause a mass exodus of U.S.  Even with industry regulations and continuous advancements, it is still common to find and purchase harmful toys. Toys that have pieces that little children could choke on, put up their noses, or injure themselves with are considered dangerous. Examples of such parts include sharp edges, rapidly moving objects, large projectiles, etc.  When kids mistreat them or give them to kids who aren't old enough to play with them, children's toys can turn harmful.  The majority of the older and riskier toys are acquired and sold in car boot and garage sales, as can be seen by simply glancing around.Although consumers believe they are getting a good deal, what is the true cost?

Every day, millions of hazardous toys that are on store shelves are recalled for a variety of reasons.  There are numerous elements that combine to create a harmful toy. Due to their high lead content and the potential for small pieces to be swallowed or pushed in inappropriate places by young children, toys with magnets rank highly on the list of dangerous toys. Lead levels in the surface paint of several recalled toys are high;Because lead is toxic, it is harmful. If your toy has any form of magnet, it should be placed high on the list of harmful toys.  Most harmful toys feature small bits that a young toddler could remove and consume. Even with all the deaths and brain damage caused by toy pieces that can easily become stuck in a child's throat, these parts are still present in many freshly made toys. Every toy should have its parts checked for any loose or small pieces that could endanger your children. Playing with toys designed for older kids poses a risk to your youngsters as well.  Check your children's toys from time to time for any damage that can render them unsafe.

The gaming and toy industries bring around thirty billion dollars annually.  An estimated 150,000 ER visits were attributed to toys in the previous year.  Toys must to be well-made, sturdy, and robust.  It's not enough to have the newest toys available; toys should pique your attention throughout time.  The Consumer Product Safety Commission's website is accessible. They release a list of recalled toys.  Both parents and kids have a right to assume that the toys their kids choose and use are made with their safety in mind.  Safe design and manufacture need to be the first line of defense for the security of toys. As things are, a lot of parents will never be aware of a product recall.

Most parents' top goal will always be to protect their children from dangerous toys, but when will the toy business and government regulating authorities prioritize this over all other considerations?  To ensure that the same risks and injuries don't recur year after year, toy companies, merchants, and the government must pay attention when reports of unsafe toys and take appropriate action.Although they are not as prevalent as they once were, dangerous toys can still be found. In order to ensure that the toys they purchase are safe, parents, guardians, and caregivers must still make sure the toys are suitably branded with the CE mark.  For instance, if toys that pose a substantial risk of injury to children are being sold, the Office of Fair Trading should have the authority to take those items out of stores.
