How Rise of the Machines

Automation is the use of automatic technology to complete a job. It requires minimum involvement on the part of humans. Automated machines are intelligent. they can work on their own without being manually controlled. In other words, they are robots. A robot doesn't need to have a human like appearance as we see in movies. They are  designed to suit their purpose. Robots have been widely used in manufacturing since 1960 and today most of the industries use robots for jobs that require precision, are hazardous or monotonous. People also purchase robots for domestic chores like vacuuming lawn moving and so on. Robotic vacuum cleaners have been around since 1996 but they are gained popularity in the early 21st century. Ever since companies have been developing on the model and the latest varieties come with a mounted camera to provide better navigation.

Robots are sharing jobs with humans today. Owning to their strength Intelligence and ability to work longer with the same efficiency  robots are performed in workspaces their required accuracy and long hour of labor. For example you often buy books garments or electronics on the online shopping website but did you know that most of the work at the warehouses of these companies is done by robots? These robots are known as autonomous mobile robots AMR. They are mostly automated point to point transfer mobile platforms that transfer materials from one place to another. Thus workers need not walk the entire distance to fetch goods. This reduce human work to a minimum. They are sensitive and do not collide with other machines or or abstract humans they are useful in industries that require transforming or fetching materials and goods. The latest varieties also come with attached arms that can pick up and place articles on shelves in the warehouses.

In industries robots may be used for or welding, palletizing, painting or assembly. They are manufactured and categorised according to their uses. Just as autonomous mobile robots look like a flat platform these robots look like an arm with one or more joints. This design is most suitable for industrial work. They are known as articulated robots. Ideally articulated robot have 6 movable access to allow maximum flexibility and efficiency to perform task. There are other varieties of industrial robots as well. They Cartesian co-ordinate robot for example has three joints arranged in such a manner that it gives the robotic arm a linear motion. This lets the arm make drawing movements. De are mostly used in 3D printing. Delta robots have three parallel arms attached to a common base. They are very useful in speaking industries as they can pick and place articles efficiently. The SCARA (Selective Complaince Assembly Robot Arm), as the name suggests is mostly used in industries that involve assembling parts of Machines. There are several other types configurations and new ones are being developed based on the requirements of the various industries.

Cultivation is a a complicated procedure in very large plots of land. To speed up the the process farmers are increasingly to automation and robotics. The robots in the the agricultural fields exist in the form of automated tractors that are GPS enabled and driverless the more advanced models of automated tractors are sensitive to obstacles and whether.
