HOW DO RESISTORS WORKS

A resistor controls current flow in one of three ways: first, by using a less conductive material, second, by making the conductive material thinner, and third, by lengthening the conductive material. Many resistors are wire-wound, as the name implies, consisting of a conductive wire wound around an insulating middle. Other resistors, known as carbon-film, don't actually have a wire wound around them; instead, they are just a spiral of carbon. Compared to carbon-film resistors, wire-wound resistors are more accurate and stable. The wire's thickness and number of turns determine the resistor's resistance. Although there are numerous varieties of resistors, they all operate according to the same three principles because this is the only effective means of managing resistance. There are many types of Resistors in the world but they all work on the same three principles as this is the only one way to control the resistance of the resistor. It has two connection, one on either side, so it can hook into the circuit.
In the resistor, there are color bands on the resistor as it indicates the resistance of it. It is different colors like Black, red, orange, Brown, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray, white, gold and silver. These colors indicate some value.

If the thickness of the wire would be more resistance and if the thickness of the wire is more than it would have less resistance. It plays a major role in the technology like circuit and other stuff. It's very important to learn the concept of the resistor, as it's very important knowledge for the technology people.
