  Rajiv Shula of the Congress, BJP’s Sumatra Valid and Kavita Patina, former Congress chief Kepi Sisal, RJD’s Miss Bharat and Jayanti Chaudhary of the RLD have been amongst individuals who had been elected unopposed to the Upper House.

 Elections to fifty-seven seats in Raja Sabra, to unfold throughout 15 states and Union territories, are slated to be held on June 10.

 Forty-one applicants across celebration lines from eleven states have been declared elected unopposed to the Raja Sabra on Friday, the final date for withdrawal of candidature for the critical elections to the Upper House of Parliament next week.

 Elections to fifty-seven seats in Raja Sabra, to unfold throughout 15 states and Union territories, are slated to be held on June 10. Keen contests in Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Maharashtra are on the playing cards as none of the candidates withdrew their candidatures on the closing day.

All the eleven candidates in Uttar Pradesh, six in Tamil Nadu, five in Bihar, 4 in Andhra Pradesh, three each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, two each in Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Telangana and Jharkhand and one candidate in Ultra hand won without a contest.
