Prince William’s Leadership Evolution
Prince William, now the Prince of Wales, has undergone a remarkable transformation in his approach to royal duties. According to former UK cabinet minister Michael Gove, William has shifted from being a helpful supporter to a confident leader since inheriting his new title in September 2022, shortly after Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
Gove, who first met William in 2018, described the difference clearly. Back then, William was polite, charming, and focused on helping others. Today, as Prince of Wales, he takes charge, presenting clear plans and leading discussions with authority.
