According to a specialist, Meghan Markle has one major requirement for Prince Harry before she can go back to the UK.
In 2020, Meghan and Harry left their position as royals and relocated to Montecito. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will now require their own space and enough security if Meghan and the family decide to return to the United Kingdom.
Meghan has stated that she is only willing to go back to England if she and Harry own a home and have the security they both feel is necessary, royal author Tom Quinn told The Mirror. Meghan has no intention of going back to the UK to stay with her husband's family.
"If the couple manage to find a permanent home and sort out the security issue they will certainly want to bring their children to the UK but it’s going to take a lot of diplomacy to get to the point where Archie and Lili can develop a genuine and warm relationship with their cousins George, Charlotte and Louis," he said.
Ravec reduced Prince Harry's protection after he resigned from his position as senior royal. Since then, he has been fighting the Home Office in court to increase his protection to match that of other royals. He does, however, have the option to challenge the ruling.
The pair, like other prominent royals, had taxpayer-funded security protection while they were employed by the royal family; however, upon their resignation, the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) reduced their police protection.
Harry misses his former life
Tom Quinn, a royal author, thinks Harry is longing for his former existence. As per Quinn, the Duke is missing his army and Old Etonian friends, many of whom have not visited since they don't get along with Meghan.
The analyst claims that Harry's initial excitement about living in the US is wearing off and that he is now nostalgically reflecting on his past. Quinn continued, "Harry misses some parts of his previous life in the UK as time goes on."
