There are many people who are trying to lose weight, some will succeed and some will fail, yet a great battle of people who can lose weight, often keeping their weight off. Most people will find that they soon regain their weight before eating or even gaining weight. This can be very stressful for them and can cause them to lose a lot of self-confidence. There are other obvious steps you can take in battle to lose weight. They will include increasing the amount of exercise we have and reducing the amount of food we eat. This is a food issue that can be very difficult to control and reduce, as our temptations often overwhelm us. In my opinion, what we need to do is make our house a place without oil. If we get hungry and start looking at cupboards and see for example a pack of crisps, it can be very difficult not to eat them. Our appetite for fast food can be very strong, and our inner demons try and make us believe that one packet will not hurt. If that pack of crisps were not in the cupboard, we would not have been put in that tempting situation and would not have been able to eat them. A few years ago, when I started to lose a lot of weight, I decided to remove all food from the cupboards that I realized I should stop eating. I also eliminated certain beverages, such as alcoholic beverages, which were also contributing to my weight problem. I dusted all the food menus I had in the bin and tried to make it as difficult as possible to eat or drink anything I shouldn't have. When I went out and probably had to be determined to save my food and not be tempted to buy any of these items in stores etc. At my weekly grocery store, I bought more fruit and vegetables and was surprised that my taste buds began to change so quickly. I immediately yearned to eat an apple as an example and gradually lost weight, but it certainly started to lose weight. After a few months, I reached my goal of happiness. My wife said that now I could start eating dried peanuts, which were one of my favorites. This may have been true, but it could easily lead to a return to my old bad habits and weight problems. I decided to stick to the fruit, and my cupboards did not yet have the foods I like to eat but which do not match my weight. Water is also a solution of losing weight. Each year, millions of Americans and Europeans enroll in commercial and self-help weight loss programs. Health care providers and their obese patients know little about these programs because of the absence of systematic reviews. Unfortunately, many patients and their doctors know little about the effectiveness and safety of these programs. It comes down to more calories used each day, called “burning calories,” than taking in, called “eating.” If you are fighting obesity haphazardly, start to change your behavior TODAY. Use a smart yet systematic approach to behavior modification. It will take time, but the long term benefits and permanent weight loss will be there!
