WHAT IS OXYGEN?
At the element level, oxygen is a gas (at room temperature) which is colorless, odorless and tasteless. Two oxygen atoms join to form a single oxygen molecule, hence the term O2.
For animals, breathing is the most important use of oxygen and in terms of physiology, our respiratory system and circulatory system carries oxygen to our cells and ORGANS
IMPORTANCE OF OXYGEN;
Oxygen gives our body the ability to rebuild itself. Oxygen detoxifies the blood and strengthens the immune system. Oxygen displaces deadly free radicals, neutralizes environmental toxins, and destroys anaerobic bacteria, parasites, microbes and viruses. Oxygen greatly enhances the body’s absorption of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, proteins, and other important nutrients. Oxygen enhances brainpower and memory. Oxygen can beneficially affect your learning ability. The ability to think, feel and act is all-dependent on oxygen. It also calms the mind and stabilizes the nervous system. Oxygen heightens concentration and alertness. Without oxygen, brain cells die and deteriorate quickly. As we age, and oxygen deficiency increases, it takes longer to learn, and your retention span is decreased. Oxygen strengthens the heart.
Air is present of nitrogen(78%), oxygen(20%), argon(1%), other gases(1%). We have 3 ways to collect oxygen from the air they are;
1)cryogenic distillation
2)membranes
3)pressure swing absorption
1)CRYOGENIC DISTILLATION ;matter is in three states, solid, liquid & gaseous. Generally, oxygen is present in atmosphere is in gaseous state. So when we cool the gases firstly they turn into liquid and condensation temperature is depended up on the gas. For oxygen, the condensation temperature is -186 °C, for nitrogen it is -196 °C. So in this process, first they condense the gaseous in the air.

After all the gasses in air turns into liquid again we heat the liquid above -196 °C (heating the liquid turns them back into gas)to separate the nitrogen from oxygen, so the nitrogen is separated into another container, so now the remaining oxygen is heated above the condensation temperature and collected in another container
2)MEMBRANES ; This is a simple process, only depended upon permeability. These membranes are just like filters. In this process, the air is sent into membranes and membranes absorb all other gasses except OXYGEN. Membranes act as a net.

3)PRESSURE SWING ABSORPTION ; This is very important process & used in many oxygen manufacturing companies. Some type of solid materials has ability of absorbing some gasses, these materials are called as TRAPPED S. A TRAPPED called zeolite has ability to absorb nitrogen from air, so the nitrogen will be separated

COMPRESSOR ;Compresses atmospheric air into working pressure. And turns the air into dry air.
FILTER PACKAGE ;Traps suspended dust particles.
COAL TOWER : Absorbs traces of oil particles and fractional impurities.
NOW THE OXYGEN IS SENT INTO PSA GENERATOR

PSA GENERATOR ; Filled with zeolites, purify oxygen of 99.50%
AND THE OXYGEN WAS STORED IN OXYGEN STORAGE BEFORE FILING IN OXY GEN CONTAINERS
BACTERIA FILTER; Remove out left suspended particles, bacteria and pathogens.
AND NOW THIS OXYGEN IS FILLED INTO CONTAINERS USING BOOSTER PUMP
