How OMICRON can be tackled by vaccination campaign than BOOSTER shots?

Before we begin with the discussion regarding whether india should turn its focus on  booster shots, we must study how did omicron spread into several south african countries.

The south african countries  have become the epicentre for OMICRON,a variant of covid19.

The reason, for the outbreak of the new variant  is,  people in the south african countries are not  vaccinated. Only about 30% of the population is vaccinated with the first dose.

With that being, if people do not follow the guidelines   Then the chances of the people getting infected increases.

No proper wearing of masks, not following social distancing norms, not sanitizing hands, are the reasons for the outbreak of the variant, Omicron.

The New variant, Omicron Is highly infectious but less deadly.

The threat posed by the new variant is not as significant as the  previous three variants.

The South African countries have already suffered the previous three waves. In comparsion, the new variant omicron  is less frightening.

But the thing to worry is its frequency to infect. So utmost care is required.

The speed of the vacation should be enhanced to cover maximum people as early as possible. Encouraging people to go for vaccination.

In India, 1.26 billion people are vaccinated. That is reason why the cases have gone done.

People are also alert and regular sanitizing and wearing masks have helped India to maintain a good position so far.

There are a few cases of Omicron in india, but if properly administered we can manage the things.

India’s primary focus should be on vaccination. Increasing the speed of vaccination should be the first priority than BOOSTER SHOTS.

Several countries have given approval for booster shots, but would be not cognizant if India does the same like other countries.

It is not that BOOSTER SHOTS should be ingnored but they must be given  the second pr

Booster shots increases our immunity faster. It should be given to the patients who are in a critical situation so that their recovery speeds up and their chances to survive increases.

The need for booster shots may vary according to the situations.

For example, a huge number of covid cases outbreaks because of omicron then the need for booster dose arises.

The primary purpose behind  India’s vaccination campaign is to reduce hospitalization and increase immunity to prevent illness and several diseases.

So far, India is doing well and must not make a hasty decision. It should focus first on its vaccination campaign and citizens should follow the covid-19 guidelines

There are clear evidence that the vaccination  has prevented hospitalization and several other diseases

The health department must timely inform that the coutry is having vaccines in good numbers. This would release some tension from the minds of people that the country is facing vaccine shortage.

Every country must produce vaccines in huge numbers. But instead of sending vaccines to other nations, cizitens of the respective country should get the vaccine first. Later, the excess vaccines must be supplied to other nations.

India is currently having and producing a decent number of vaccine. It is the appropriate time to share its vaccine with other countries. It would not only help countries but omicron outbreak will flow at a lesser pace in india
