Let's talk about travel cap-

To address the potential difficulties, Air carriers Association of the Philippines proposed four measures

*Acceptance of vaccine cards, with or without QR codes, by the local government units.

*Increase of daily inbound international passenger arrivals, from 4,000 to10,000

*Exclusion of fully vaccinated inbound travelers from Green List countries from the daily cap on international arrival

*Reduction of quarantine days for fully vaccinated passengers from Yellow List countries, from five days to two days.

Air Carriers Associations of PH proposes that travel cap should be increased from 4000 to 10,000 every day. They believed that it will be really helpful for inbound passengers around the world who want to come in PH.

It is important to mention that they also think that green list passengers should be excluded from travel cap. It means, they should not be counted in travel cap. As they are from green list countries without quarantine.

It will be really helpful for inbound passengers as well as International Tourists (of course if they open).

The Air Carriers Association of the Philippines is appealing to the government to further simplify the travel requirements for the holiday seasons, which is expected to bring a surge in travel demand.

Citing the improving health situation in the country, Air Association urged the government to make necessary adjustments to policies on both domestic and international travel.

The testing and quarantine protocols of minors shall follow the testing and quarantine protocol of the parent/guardian traveling with them, regardless of the minor's vaccination status, and country of origin.

"These recommendations, if considered and adopted by the government, will enable travelers, especially overseas Filipino workers and Filipina/Filipino from abroad who have long been wanting to return

to the Philippines for Christmas, to enjoy seamless, convenient, and hassle-free travel across all touchpoints of their journey,"
