It is simple to forget that the character will debut before Deadpool 3 hits theaters, with all the anticipation surrounding Hugh Jackman's return to the role of Wolverine.

The X-Men's Promising Future in the MCU
Wolverine is the only member of the X-Men who has been officially confirmed for forthcoming animation and live-action films, but that won't last for very long.
Fans should anticipate the X-Men to appear in the MCU sooner rather than later now that Disney owns Fox and the franchise's rights. Even with his MCU role being established, he still has an advantage over popular characters like Storm, Rogue, and Magneto.
However, when X-Men '97 does air in the early months of 2024, all three of those characters—as well as Wolverine, Cyclops, and more—will appear on television.
