How not only Hugh Jackman, but TWO Wolverines will return in 2024 according to Marvel Studios.

It is simple to forget that the character will debut before Deadpool 3 hits theaters, with all the anticipation surrounding Hugh Jackman's return to the role of Wolverine.

Deadpool 3's production was suspended as a result of the ongoing writers' and actors' strikes in Hollywood, so Wolverine fans are currently playing a very protracted waiting game.

Although Deadpool 3 was taken off Disney's list of 2024 dates, there hasn't been an official delay beyond an early one from September to November of that year (before it was ultimately pushed even earlier to May 2024).

Where Might Logan Be in the MCU Before Deadpool 3?

Fans will get the opportunity to watch the MCU's portrayal of Wolverine in the animated series X-Men '97 prior to the inevitable delayed release of Deadpool 3.

The program, which had been scheduled to launch on Disney+ in the fall of 2023, will now do so in "early 2024."

Although X-Men '97's Logan may not be the Hugh Jackman Wolverine fans may be hoping for, he will nonetheless be recognizable, especially to fans of X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s.

The next Disney+ project will serve as a spiritual prequel to that first series and even feature members of its original actors (Cal Dodd as Wolverine among them). It takes the Uncanny X-Men title literally.

The animated series' Wolverine is rough, grizzled, and a deadly combatant. The character, who is full of Logan-isms like "Bub," will make spectators feel both a flood of nostalgia for what the character once was and a bucket of excitement for what the character may become.

Whether he's being represented in a comic, animation, or live-action film, Wolverine is one of the most recognizable X-Men, from his voice to his mannerisms and costume.

The X-Men's Promising Future in the MCU

Wolverine is the only member of the X-Men who has been officially confirmed for forthcoming animation and live-action films, but that won't last for very long.

Fans should anticipate the X-Men to appear in the MCU sooner rather than later now that Disney owns Fox and the franchise's rights. From Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness through Ms. Marvel and Namur becoming proven mutants, the team and notion of mutants is starting to be introduced.

However, if the "Deadpool Kills the Fox Marvel Universe" allegations are proven to be accurate, the X-Men's real merger into the MCU is most likely tied to, if not a part of, Deadpool 3.

Granted, since Hugh Jackman seems to hint that this is his final appearance as Wolverine in the MCU, fans are unsure of who will play the character in the long run. There is no reason to believe it won't be, but it could not be.

Even with his MCU role being established, he still has an advantage over popular characters like Storm, Rogue, and Magneto.

However, when X-Men '97 does air in the early months of 2024, all three of those characters—as well as Wolverine, Cyclops, and more—will appear on television.

So This is how Two Wolverines may be shown in upcoming MCU.

In the months preceding up to Fall of X, the X-Men have faced many challenges. Due to the X-Men's distraction from the threats of the outside world, the Orchids Initiative gained an advantage against them. He was recently shaken by a number of significant betrayals. In his bid for supremacy, Mister Sinister imagined a dark future in which mutants ruled the universe at everyone else's expense. Beast, meanwhile, broke away from X-Force to continue his violent battles against the enemies of mutants.
