The articles are being invited by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIF) for the third volume of the NIF Journal of Fashion, an annual peer-reviewed, open-access research journal. The theme is the ‘Evolving Landscape of Fashion Education: Innovation and Adaptation’ that explores emerging trends in training and learning fashion, re-thinking educational models, pedagogical approaches, and best practices. The articles should focus on fostering innovation and creativity, integrating sustainability, strengthening industry collaboration, adapting to digital transformation and interdisciplinary learning to align with industry needs, and addressing social and environmental concerns.
The contributions can address future skills for fashion education; application of technology for product innovation; Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on learning and education; fashion technology integration; education for sustainable development and ethical practices; diversity and inclusivity in fashion education social impact case studies and projects. Global perspective: Cross-cultural learning and partnering with international institutes; Unconventional methods of evaluation and assessment; co-creation and collaboration with industry and other stakeholders; interdisciplinary approaches to design and innovation; E-learning platforms and interactive learning experience; outreach programs in fashion and design.

Notification to contributors regarding recommendations of the reviewers (whether articles are accepted/rejected) will be done by November 15, 2023. The last date for submission of the revised research article is December 15, 2023. The journal will be released on March 29, 2024.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIF) will issue the NIF 2023 seat allotment result for Spot Round at 5 pm, today. The allotment will be released online at the official website- niftadmissions.in.
To check their seat allotment status, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using their email ID and password. NIF conducted fresh registrations for the Spot Round from 27 July to 1 August 2023.
