Significance of Muharram
The specific mention of these four months doesn't suggest that other Islamic months have no sanctity; actually, each Islamic month has its own sacredness. We all know that Ramadan is admittedly the foremost sanctified month within the year.
But Allah Almighty has chosen a specific time for His special blessings and these four months are among those particular times during which a Muslim can get the maximum of Allah’s blessings.

History of Hijri Calendar

Fasting during Muharram
Earlier on, it had been obligatory to fast on the 10th of Muharram. Ayesha (R.A.) that Prophet (S.A.W.) said:
"Muharram is the foremost rewarded one among the optional (Nafil) fasts within the sunshine."
The award of Muharram’s fasts is often achieved only by fasting the entire month. Therefore, one should avail this chance and fast the maximum amount together can during this blessed month.
10 Muharram (Ashura)
Ashura is that the 10th day of Muharram and is the most sacred day among all its days. T when the fasts of Ramadan were made obligatory, the fasting today was made optional. However, consistent with many
authentic Hadiths, fasting on the day of Ashura could even be a confirmed Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.).

About the month of Muharram

About the Day of Ashura
1- Prophet Adam (A.S.) was created by Allah today.
2- Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) was born on Muharram.
3- Prophet Adam’s (A.S.) repentance was accepted by Allah today.
4- Day of Judgement will happen on Friday, 10th of Muharram.
5- Whoever takes a bath on the 10th of Muharram will never fall ill.
6- One who puts kohl in his eyes today won't suffer from any disease .
7- Some people say that it's Sunnah to organize a specific meal on this particular day then distribute it.
Prophet (S.A.W.) or from his Companions (R.A.) about any of the above-mentioned incidents. So of these are just myths and zip to try to to with Islam or Shariah. So of these things should be avoided during Muharram and will not be followed by any Muslim.
Conclusion
Muharram may be a crucial and holy month for every Muslim, and with all of its complexity, it'll always be a month of deep reflection for Muslims across the earth.
Similar to the regular New Year, one should make resolutions at the beginning of the Islamic New Year to enhance oneself as a far better Muslim. These goals are often both spiritual and social.
