If you're looking at Google's AdSense program, you ask yourself how much you can earn from such a program, and you probably think that you won't be able to earn as much as you could from traditional advertising plans.
Google, of course, maintains great secrecy about how much Google Ads advertisers pay for each click directed to their site, and the same applies to how much AdSense banner owners earn from their websites.
Although nothing official, rumors are circulating about the amount of cash a website can earn using AdSense. And many people (illegally) disclose how much they earn with AdSense. There are stories of people raising over a thousand dollars a month using AdSense.
There are also stories of people making over $100,000.00 a month, but these kinds of stories are hard to believe. The truth is, if you have a small website, and you just want it to be self-supporting and don't want to reach out to your pocket for maintenance costs, you can probably do it with AdSense.
AdSense is also very good for people who host many of pages. Even if the individual pages in question don't generate a lot of traffic.
You may not know how much money you will make using Google's AdSense, but considering a few things, you can tell for yourself before you really get started.
The first is the amount of visits you get each day. While there's no way to make an exact estimate on this, you can generally make a safe assumption that if you get a lot of clicks per day, you'll make good money.
Also, it all depends on what exactly your site is about. If your site is about something popular (music, whatever) you should get lots of banner clicks. These have a coefficient associated with them called CTR.
Basically, it means that if a large proportion of your site visitors click on the ads, you will earn more money. The best way to do this is to have some popular content on your site and have the links lead users to popular items.
Then, of course, there is the position and number of ads on your website. While you don't want to overdo it, having many links will undoubtedly give you more income as a webmaster. However, don't believe that if you add a lot of ads to an important part of your site, visitors will always be able to skip them (and I'm sure many do).
There is something between art and science to position your ads. People often look in certain places and never look elsewhere, and a website writer and/or webmaster who knows this can do a lot with AdSense to increase their earnings.
As a result, the amount of money you make with AdSense depends on many factors. However, if you have a site with interesting content and/or lots of pages, and you're seeing a consistently high amount of traffic every day, you can be sure to make a lot of money with AdSense.
Even if you're not in the above categories, AdSense is still worth using because there's little hassle to set it up, and while it often helps support the site financially, it's a nice bonus for completing the post at the end.
