Today the whole world is infected with a hazardous disease, namely Covid 19 (coronavirus). This disease has not only affected the whole world; rather, it has also affected the entire world system.
The disease, which is originated on Chinese soil, and now has spread around the world. So far, 164,883,320 peoples worldwide have contracted the disease, and still, more than 611,169 patients are affected by this disease daily. In addition, more than 3,418,165 peoples have died so far. Every country in the world has made every effort to control this disease, but no one could control it.
1. SITUATION IN INDIA
The situation in India is similar to other countries; here, too, this incurable deadly disease has ruined everything. More than 2.58 million covid 19 patients in India and more than 2.24 million people have been recovered from this disease, but so far, 2.87 million people have died.
This disease has affected India's whole; the country's situation is getting worse day by day. Lockdowns have been implemented across the country to prevent the disease. Due to this, all the factories in the country are closed, which had a significant impact on the country's economic condition.
2. IMPACT OF LOCKDOWN AND COVID 19 ON OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM
In the same way, this disease has also affected our education system.
The virus has affected every sector and every system and has greatly affected our education system. When the Covid 19 cases were increasing day by day in our country, the government decided to put lockdown all over the country to control it. As a result, all schools and colleges in the country were closed.
Lockdown was applied in our country on 21st March 2020. On the one hand, its benefits were obvious because due to this, cases of Covid 19 were decreasing. But on the other hand, the whole country was closed.
Due to lockdown, all schools are closed for some time. Due to this, the date of all examinations was postponed. The postponement of exams had a significant impact on the students. Because the date of exams has been postponed, but if the disease is not controlled, and similarly if two or three months of continuous lockdown, all the students' preparation will be wasted, and at the same time, one year of their education will be wasted.
At the urging of the students, the government and the educational institution announced to continue education online. But can all problems be solved just by announcing? The government is well aware that many people in India are worried about the economic situation.
In such cases, these people cannot provide their children online education. Besides, online education is useful for primary education and, to some extent, secondary education, but it is not useful for college students and others. However, it doesn't provide all the education facilities for children.
In addition, the 10th and 12th-grade examinations have not been held yet, which is considered the first step of education in India. After which, the students think about their future, and they make their future bright. But their hard work and whole preparation are being wasted due to not taking the exams.
CONCLUSION
The government needs to understand that these students are the future of our country. If they are not properly educated, they will not be able to build their future, nor can they fix the country's future.
Therefore, the government must resolve this issue.
