Minerals present in Molasses are Calcium 205 mg, Iron 4.72 mg, Magnesium 242 mg, Manganese 1.53g, Phosphorous 31 mg, Potassium 1464 mg, Sodium 37mg, Zinc 0.29mg.The quantity of water in molasses is 21.9g. So, in molasses carbohydrates are 75% and water is 22% majorly. Along with Brown sugar, Molasses can be used in agriculture and homemade products. In market, it is available from the name of uncultured molasses. Along with brown sugar, it is also used in gingerbread, dark rye bread or whole grain bread. It is used in some cookies and pies. It is also used in production of yeast. Calories of Brown sugar, according to USDA, in a teaspoon (4.6 grams) . In 100 grams it contains 377 calories. In which it contains no fat. There are also no proteins in brown sugar.The large quantity present in brown sugar is carbohydrates, which are 97.33g in 100 grams. In which sugars contribute 96.21 grams and no dietary fibers.
