 John Shepherd Barron, inventor of ATM, wanted to keep 6 digits ATM Pin, but his beloved wife Carolyn didn't remember 6 digits. Thus, he made a 4 digits ATM Pin. 1234, 1111 and 0000 these are the mostly common used. 8068 is the least common used password.

3)Different names of ATM.

ATMs are known by varieties names. In the UK and New Zealand, it is called a Cash machine or a cash point. In Canada and Australia, it is called  a Money Machine.

4)Is there any ink bottle inside the ATM?

A blue ink bottle is placed inside the ATM, where notes are placed. If someone tries to forcefully withdraw a note or breaks the machine, then ink spreads on the notes.

It is neither for the customer nor for the security guard. It is installed to content the heat and to protect the machine from burning due to overheat. As ATMs are worked 24 hrs, so the AC are also worked for 24 hrs.

 Brown Label ATMs-These ATMs are not owned by the bank, instead they are taken on lease to provide the service to the customer.

 Pink Label ATMs-These ATMs are meant only for Women.

 Cash dispenser ATMs-These ATMs allow only cash withdrawals, balance inquiry and mini statement requests.

Mobile ATMs-These ATMs move in various area for customers. Few private banks have installed ATMs on wheels.
