How Many Article Directories So Little Time

I was invited to join their new websites twice today by owners of article directories. I am humbled in many ways, but I almost want to say that they have a lot of work ahead of them. I have some advice for article directory managers as the author of several hundred online articles—I anticipate adding between one and two hundred each month for the foreseeable future. Assuming you are keen on realizing what they are, kindly read on.

Benchmark Ezine Articles: EzineArticles.com is my primary platform for article submission. Why? Some features include volume, service, article penetration, search engine optimization, email updates, site navigation, and cutting-edge technology. Authors who are familiar with the site's manager, Christopher Knight, receive regular communication from him on this highly active site. You get the impression that Ezine Articles is rapidly expanding.

First, ask for permission: Some of my articles have been published elsewhere without my permission. I suppose that because I have more than 400 online articles, I get more special attention than someone with 40. But I have to say that one web director who took my articles appears to have stopped doing so without informing his authors. Let's just say that I won't waste my time with a person who doesn't even bother to answer my emails!

Distinguish Yourself from Others: A new piece of article software that was released in the summer has prompted a large number of people to purchase this simple program and start their own directories. Although competition is beneficial, there will be a shakeout. Your website shouldn't even resemble any of the others if you want someone like me to be interested in it, to bring in customers (of which I have many), and to keep me interested. I don't say you shouldn't use the new software; I just ask that you take it to the next level and make it work as well as possible.

Boost Page Rank: In fact, my own website has a page rank of 6. I want you to have the same strength as my site, or at least close to it. Some of the newest websites have not yet been ranked, and Google has indexed very little of them. BTW, Google is my only option. Google is the best, while MSN and Yahoo are okay. Nothing after these three!

Details, details: While the overall goal of getting articles out there is admirable, I prefer to see some attention paid to the nitty-gritty aspects as well. There are three resource boxes available to authors in Ezine Articles, each of which contains information that has already been entered by the authors. One exists in no other directory that I am aware of.I wonder where you're going. What is the future of your article directory? Do you have RSS feeds, agreements with other sites to submit content, exclusive features that are regularly added, etc.? A blog where you, the manager, write to us is extremely helpful.

There are different regions I'm certain that I haven't covered. I do not target any particular directory, but I do wish you success in your endeavor. I may sign up for your site as it grows, but for the time being, I am very busy writing articles and submitting them to a small number of sites, like Ezine Articles. Much thanks to you for permitting me to vent!
