How Make Your Website Talk How To Install Streaming Audio On Your Site

One of the most important tasks in online marketing, and in all sales, is to convince the potential buyer that he or she is a trustworthy person. Your beautiful image in your "about" section is helpful, but even more convincing can be a heartfelt message message that you describe yourself in and present your product or service.

If you think that adding audio caption to your website can be more than just your technical or financial means then I think you will change your mind after you finish reading this article.

There are other online services that offer full audio support but charge monthly fees and this may be more than what you want to invest. However, if you want to add sound with light buttons to your site for a limited budget there are a few downloadable software packages that allow you to do everything, without any technical knowledge. Prices range from $ 40 to $ 100. Visit the websites of audiomakerpro.com, flashaudiowizard.com or soundstreamer.com, and you will see how these programs work.

Now, if you are like me, a real cheapskate, and you do not want to spend any money at all but would like your website to speak, you can use the following method to insert an audio file to stream on your website.

First you have to record your message. I was able to use an old software package (CoolEditPro) to record an mp3 message directly to my computer. If you have an MP3 player capable of recording you can simply record your message and save it to your computer.

Suppose the message was saved as myintroduction.mp3. If you just upload a file to your server and create a link to that file, it will not spread but will download when someone clicks the link. To make it broadcast you have to do the following. Open the text file and type one small text: http://www.yourwebsite.com/myitroduction.mp3 (provide the location where this file will be) and save this text file with the same name as audiointro.m3u. It is just a text file but it has an extension that makes it look like an audio file. Now, download the original mintroduction.mp3 audio file and the audiointro.m3u text file to your server.

In the area where you want someone to listen to you insert a text link or an image button attached to the audiointo.m3u file. When someone clicks this link you will hear the myintroduction.mp3 file being streamed to their speakers. It will be played in the default MP3 player of that computer, such as Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc.

This is the broadcast sound of poor people, but it works. The beauty of medium-price packages or high-quality audio accessories is that the buttons are nice and relaxing, standing and starting operations.

Some audio services claim that adding audio to a website increases the conversion rate by 300%. Audio is a tool, if used properly it may be just what you need to improve your website performance. So choose a method that works for you and try it out.
