How long does it take to build an MVP and MMP?

Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) usually takes less time—typically a few weeks to a couple of months—because the focus is only on testing the core functionality with minimal features. The goal of an MVP is speed: quickly validating the idea with real users and gathering feedback.

On the other hand, aMinimum Marketable Product (MMP) takes longer, often several months, since it includes market-ready features that can attract paying customers. Unlike an MVP, which is about validation, an MMP emphasizes usability, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

Conclusion: While an MVP helps you enter the market faster to validate your idea, an MMP ensures you deliver a polished version that users are willing to adopt and pay for.
