How Learning From Online Business Failures

I remember reading a book about Judo a long time ago. He advised that in order to be a good champion, one must learn to fall. It makes great sense that if a person tries to learn Judo and does not learn to reduce the fall of a person, serious injuries are likely to occur. As a small online entrepreneur, I did not know at the time that this wise advice could also apply to running your online business. To be a good entrepreneur, you have to learn how to fail.

Failure abounds in everything we do. The world is a mess, and many well-planned programs do not always bear fruit. Best of all, many of them do not produce the kind of fruit we were hoping for. People should expect disappointments and obstacles as they are part of life. However, anticipation of obstacles, and readiness to learn from them is very different from anticipation of failure. The ability to fail “in the right way” goes a long way in helping us avoid the first enemy of success

In the real world-stop. Quitting is a sure way to lose anything. You have successfully set the clock. Game over. By learning to fail “in the right way” we are trying to sow the seeds of success that we have learned and to learn from our failures.

I don't mean to be very successful in what I do, but I have learned a few things along the way. Hopefully, you will find them useful. The best way to describe failure is “the right way” is to analyze the ways of failure “in the wrong way.”

The Wrong Way First: Take things in stride

A lot of things happen to webmasters who are out of control. Servers crash. Traffic failed to appear. Older ways to monetize / generate traffic change. Content delivery / quality is compromised. Smaller contractors are out. The list goes on and on. One of the worst things a webmaster can do is to take things in stride and say to himself, "Maybe I haven't done this yet." The other difference is "Maybe I'm too dumb" or "I don't 'touch' this." Or “I have no contact.” Or "I started too late in the game." By focusing on “I” in these silent statements and checking for what went wrong, webmasters let their frustrations BE DONE to them. Your embarrassment is NOT OWNED - you are more than just a website that has been exposed or badly promoted. You are more than a statement of income. However, according to the negative comments above, you are making your identity invisible and your failures.

The best way to say this is to fail to take ownership and control. "I have incorrectly designed my site." Or “I have chosen to pursue my niche in the wrong way.” Do you see the difference? "I" in these statements controls. If you decide to do something, you can decide to do something else or sing the action well. "I" in this case is in a position of control. This is similar to working with the old adage “losers” asking ‘what happened?’ And “winners” making it happen. Your perception of how you are going, goes a long way in determining your success.

Second Way Wrong: Blame someone else

Failure and disappointment are everywhere. It was the way, the way it is, and the way it's going to go on. Many successful people in this world did not succeed in their first try. Many of the world's most successful entrepreneurs are only successful with their second, third, and even thirteen businesses. However, they are still successful because they see that in the end – THEY are in control of their success. Many people choose to fail because they blame other people for their failures. This may take the form of faulty catch agreements or designs that fail to produce the desired result. The problem with blaming others for the failure that strikes us is that it takes us out of the equation. For without the image, it frees us from the action. This is a big problem because it breeds human freedom and gives us excuses.

Don't get me wrong — there are many instances where, rightly so, some are guilty. However, when we feel deceived and overwhelmed by the chaos of others, it is only up to us to get up and try again. Partners will steal. People will lie. Government institutions will make the wrong laws. That's just part of life. However, stopping and just sneaking around and pointing out the responsible team does not free you from taking the initiative to fix your own situation.

The Third Wrong Method: Habit vs. Evolution

There is a reason why people laugh at Columbus because he thinks the earth is round. Or to Copernicus because he asserted that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Humans have a mental picture of what the earth and the things on it should look like and how they should function. We all have mental habits. However, by failing to overcome these mental barriers, we limit ourselves to what can happen with what we currently have. When circumstances change (and always do), we are left with only our own thoughts and disappointments. Break your habits. Ask why you do the things you do. Ask if you are ready to get the results you get. Obviously, someone out there produces more results than you. Learn from them. Challenge your personal limitations and attitude to fit what they are doing.

There are two main types of people. On the other hand, there are people who are naturally superior because they are curious and have a strong sense of humor. On the other hand, there are people who go to another level, because they are forced to. There is no right answer here — either one, one, or a combination of both. However, it is up to you to identify what motivates you and break your mental habits in order to transform into another level of your personal journey to greater success.
