Even though it has been weeks since his former lawyers attempted to serve him with court papers terminating their relationship with him, Kanye West is still evasive.
However, according to All Hip Hop, the Greenberg Traffic Law Office has devised a fresh strategy to contact the allegedly recently wed artist.
The company used a "multipronged" strategy, placing advertising in multiple Los Angeles newspapers in an effort to drop Donna hitmaker from their clientele.
The documents stated that Ye will be made aware of the withdrawal order "through publication of the Withdrawal Order's contents in two Los Angeles-area newspapers, where Ye appears to reside."
"Given Ye's public profile, publication of the Withdrawal Order will probably attract significant media interest, leading to broader publicity and providing an even greater possibility of apprising Ye of the Order," the statement reads.
The Grammy-winning artist was represented by Greenberg Traurig in the dispute with Ultra International Music Publishing. The 45-year-old was dropped as a client by the New York City law firm as a result of the latter's antisemitism outcry, but they ultimately opted to represent the man.
The former West attorneys had to serve him first before dismissing him, though. On November 30, 2023, Judge Annalisa Torres approved the law firm's application to resign as West's legal representative.
The firm was also mandated by the judge to personally deliver a court order to the father of four by December 14, 2022. But the business still needs assistance finding the rapper.
Ye is also said to have avoided his previous business manager. Thomas St. John stated that he was unable to find West, which started rumors regarding his whereabouts.
