Johnny Depp and his legal team celebrate the outcome of the damages case against his ex-wife Amber Heard after a jury in Los Angeles had found her had defamed him and awarded him $30 million.

The court ruled that Amber Heard's comments were untrue, malicious and degrading and so she was awarded $5 million in damages, the rest to be taken out of the $7 million she paid her former husband to buy out the remainder of their original divorce agreement in January this year.
The three-person jury found that Amber must pay $1 million for each of the 14 false statements she had made and must pay the award out of the $7 million she still owes him in the divorce settlement.
As news of the verdict was made public, a triumphant Depp walked into the Cucina Verona - his favorite LA pub - with guitarist Jeff Beck, and British rock star Sam Fender.
The one of the pub's owners and a big Depp fan, Jonny Lemass said, 'It was absolutely amazing. When the verdict was read out they were going crazy. It was so overwhelming, especially to see Mr Depp so happy.'
'It has been such a fun six years and I hope it will continue as long as Mr Depp wants.'
The bar's 'regulars' seemed just as relieved at the outcome as the owner, with one woman shouting 'Goddamn, I'm so happy' as she rushed over to Depp to offer her a hug.
Depp was seen outside the pub drinking beer, and looking happy as he was surrounded by his friends including Beck, Jeff, bass player Jim Beach and his bodyguard.
Depp and Amber had been fighting a $20 million defamation lawsuit for nearly three years over claims he made about her being physically during their marriage, although the actress denied the allegations.
At one point Amber's lawyer Rachel Geiss asked the judge for a one-day delay in closing arguments to allow for the plaintiff to try to show a video of a 2012 incident, that Amber had not been willing to produce herself.
The judge denied that request, saying Amber had waited until the eve of closing arguments to bring up the video.
But the judge later rejected Amber's request for a delay, saying it was 'the most transparent legal strategy I've ever seen'.
In a tense final speech to the jury at the end of the three-day trial, Depp's attorney Laura Wasser said Amber was trying to use the jury to regain public sympathy for herself.
She also said Heard had brought up the video 'only at the 11th hour, and only with the sole purpose of delaying the case for as long as possible.'

He told the court, 'Amber is not the victim. I am the victim,' adding he had a right to defend himself.
Wealthy Depp, 54, who split from the actress following 15 months of marriage in May last year, also told the court he slapped Heard in the face during a dispute over a set of golf clubs.
At that time he said he would be willing to give Heard $100,000 a month for the rest of her life in a bid to repair their relationship, but a month later she launched legal action for defamation.
Heard's lawyer said Depp's lawyers showed the 'same lack of respect for the law and due process' as his ex-wife's.
Heard has requested a jury trial and filed the $25 million defamation lawsuit in September, just weeks before the couple finalized their divorce.
