Beagle is a breed of small scent hound, so they have about 220 million scent receptors; therefore, they are used to hunt small animals like rabbits. If they go a scent on their nose, their ears and eyes will shut.

Beagles are active companions for kids and adults. They cuddle monsters, Intelligent, Even Tempered, Amiable, Determined, Excitable, Gentle. but being hounds, they can also be stubborn and require patients when training.

Most people prefer small size dog breeds, don't worry, beagles are not a big-size breed. They are small size breed,
Height:Male: 36–41 cm and Female: 33–38 cm (Maximum)
Wieight: Male: 10–11 kg, Female: 9–10 kg (Maximum)
COLOR:
Beagles are in two colors, and they are classified into two 'Bicolor' and 'Tricolor.
Bicolor: White and Yellow
Tricolor: White, Tan, and Black
LIFE SPAN:
12 years to 15 years. They have a life span almost same to other dogs.

Beagles can swim, but they do not enjoy swimming much; if you want your beagle to swim with you,at a young age itself, you have to introduce them gradually.

Beagles have a friendly personality; most people select beagles due to their gentle and loving behavior.Therefore beagles cannot do a guarding job because their friendly personality does not allow them to attack anyone.
