PHILOSPHY OF YOGA
In ancient India, philosophy had traditionally been divided into two main groups. These groups are called the orthodox sect and the sect. The orthodox group believes in the authority of the Vedas in all philosophical matters. These orthodox denominations are six in total. One of the most popular philosophical programs is yoga. It shares these same beliefs with other common principles:
• Belief in the eternal soul, which forms the basis of life.
• The soul should lose one body at the time of death and move on to a new one at the time of rebirth.
• A strong belief in karma, which states that events in a person's life are the direct result of events in his previous life or life (if a person has been born many times).
• The belief that human life is miserable and miserable.
• Belief in a state of complete relief from sorrow and grief called mukti(liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth ) or moksha. Yoga embraces the double theory of cosmology. It is assumed that the universe was originally created by a union or samyoga(a physical, metaphysical and all other types of attachments between two or more things) of two eternal truths called purusha and prakriti. Purusha forms the basis of all spiritual things while the practical one deals with material things. Prakriti and everything that comes out of it has three guna namely: sattva, rajo and tamas in various proportions and combinations. Sattvaguna deals with all that is pure and holy while rajasguna deals with all the rich and royal qualities and tamasguna deals with all the lesser virtues like greed, lust, anger, fear etc. The samusga of purusha and prakrit is real. There is nothing but an ignorant mind that thinks it is real. This is due to a deception called avidya and binds the pus and causes it to pass from one body to another in various births. Once the avidya is completely eliminated, one can break free from the cycle of call and death and gain moksha. This is easily achieved by following the eightfold method given to Patanjali in his Yogasutras.
